Your Opportunity

Responsible for overseeing all task activities assigned to the Scrum team are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality of performance. Will interface with client personnel and use oral and written communications skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders. Will lead a Scrum team to perform planning, development and testing on development, implementation, and integration project. Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective and client demos. Interface with product owners on an active basis to manage product backlog and sprint activities. Remove obstacles and manage risks to enable team efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure all scrum activities are tracked and kept up-to-date and reported daily. Must have experience managing software development projects, preferable managing or performing software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach. Ability to apply scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts, strong leadership, and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project planning, people and team building skills.

Provide software leadership and support of ground vehicle projects. The person filling this role will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery and quality of software execution projects.
• Responsible for publishing, communicating, and maintaining a project plan/schedule.
• Responsible for managing scope and change control.
• Responsible for generating and coordinating customer deliverables.
• Proactively seek ways to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Responsibility for managing all aspects of the customer relationship,
• Provide buffer to the technical side of team to keep focus on the deliverables.
• Ensure standard work and execution framework being followed (DPROM/ISO).
• Receive and understand the solutions development concept and simulation.
• Coordinate in-house and on-site project activities with other disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership skills required.
• Minimum of 10 years related experience.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of CMMI is preferred.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) is a plus
• Develop basis of estimates for new scope items
• Enter EVMS for software tasks
• Assist with development and/or review of software documentation including SDP, SRDR, SRS, SDD, SVD, SPS and related test documentation
• Attend and participate in project related meetings with the project management team.
• Work with Systems to support system level requirements allocation and testing.
• Interface and coordinate with outside vendors for software support and deliverables.
• Interface with SWQA to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with development of project metrics and measures.
• Prepare and submit status reports to management.
• Ensure all work conforms to software development process improvement and CMMI Level 3 initiatives
• 5 years working with technical projects (data science, software engineering, or analytics)
• Experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Experience leading analytical or technical projects preferred
• Possess or able to obtain security clearance
• Must have Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience
• Requires some limited travel (training/seminars/meetings)

• Full Stack/ Object oriented development
• Experience with JIRA
• Agile Management and Cloud Development Experience
• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence (PMP Skills)
